Ronel Kleinloog has been consistently involved in exercise and fitness for almost 25 years. An avid athlete as a youngster, Ronel followed closely all of the fitness trends through the years, from yoga, weight training, spinning and aerobic classes. After receiving her Bachelors Degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Pretoria in South Africa, Ronel went on to working with ortopedic and sport injuries in SA and the US. After discovering Pilates in 2002, Ronel started using the Pilates principles for most of her orthopedic injured patients. "It was a true awakening for me. From activities of daily life to running a 1/2 marathon, Pilates can help all of us achieve our goals, no matter what our age or physical fitness levels. Pilates has changed my whole outlook on fitness and staying healthy. I am passionate about it, love teaching it and learning more about the benefits of Pilates each day."
A physical therapist's background lends itself superbly to this type of practice and therefore, this unique combination of physical therapy and Pilates gives a fresh perspective on how to manage the whole person, focusing on prevention and promoting optimal performance levels.
